About Us

Phoenïx Alrakkassat is a bellydance troupe based in the Milton Keynes / Bedford area.

We were all taught by Heather Burby, who first brought us together as a troupe in summer 2006. The highlight of that time as Blue Scarab Dance Company was performing on the same stage as Randa Kamel and others at the 2007 International Bellydance Congress.

Since then the 4 of us have progressed to form our own dance troupe Phoenïx Alrakkassat in March 2008. We have now developed a repertoire of our own choreographies which we perform at a variety of events both locally and further afield.

Our aim is to bring the joy of bellydance to a wide audience and to contribute to the development of this dance form through our commitment to quality, high standards and attention to detail.

We perform at bellydance haflas, charity events, private and corporate functions.
